No! Freedom Boost was not designed for safe transfers to a Car, Van or SUV. If you

How easy is it to Operate the Freedom Boost?

The Freedom Boost was designed to eliminate the use of Slings. The Split Seat Design makes Lateral Side Transfers easier for users to remain seated when getting in or out of the Patient Handling Device.

Does it fold for storage or travel?

The Boost can be broken down without tools into a few manageable pieces allowing for easy storage in the closet or trunk of a car for travel.

Can the Freedom Boost Patient Lift be used in the shower?

No, The Freedom Lift is not waterproof and therefore should not be purposefully be exposed to water. However, we do offer waterproof transfer options as seen in the Freedom Aqua.

How do I keep the Freedom Boost clean?

For daily cleaning, apply a neutral synthetic detergent and wipe with a clean cloth. Avoid spraying detergent directly onto any electronics.

Howis the Boost powered?

Designed with a non-powered hydraulic pump to raise and lower the lift. To raise simply step on the Hydraulic foot pedal until the desired height is reached.
