Product Overview
The Freedom Boost Transfer Patient Lift delivers the same sling free, dignified transfer experience as the Standard and AQUA Freedom Lift, but operates without electricity. Instead of a powered actuator, the Boost uses a smooth, foot-controlled hydraulic pump that gives caregivers full control of lifting and lowering without relying on batteries or charging.
Like all Freedom Transfer Lifts, the Boost eliminates the need for slings. Users remain seated on a supportive seat that closes around the body, providing greater comfort and stability than overhead lifting methods. With a 265 pound weight capacity and a 70.5 pound frame, the Boost combines dependable strength with the maneuverability caregivers need for daily transfers. This reduces fear, improves user compliance, and minimizes the risks associated with traditional Hoyer lifts, where the patient hangs in the air during the transfer.
The hydraulic Boost Power system allows caregivers to raise the seat to a comfortable transfer height, aligning the user with beds, chairs, or toilets. The split seat design swings open for easy loading, requiring minimal repositioning of the patient. Once secured, the Boost transports smoothly on medical-grade casters that navigate tight rooms and hallways with ease.
Built for reliability and everyday care, the Freedom Boost features a stable frame, ergonomic handles, locking wheels, and integrated commode functionality. It provides a safer, simpler, and more intuitive approach to seated transfers for individuals who can sit upright and benefit from an alternative to sling-based lifting.
Note: The Freedom Boost is not waterproof. If you need a lift that can be used in wet environments, check out our Freedom Aqua, our waterproof transfer lift designed for bathroom and shower use.

What are the requirements of the operator or caregiver?
The operator or caregiver needs to be able to assist the patient into the transfer lift with some direction and guidance and, if necessary, assist in helping the patient get onto the seat. Lastly, they should be able to push the weight of the occupant in the chair.
Does the Freedom Boost Patient Lift come with a seat cushion?
No, the Freedom Transfer Lift does not include a seat cushion. However, a seat cushion is available for purchase separately and can provide additional comfort during transfers and extended periods of sitting.
How easy is the hydraulic pump to operate?
