The Freedom Transfer Patient Lift is an innovation in patient handling, designed as a sling free, seated alternative to traditional Hoyer lifts. Instead of suspending patients in the air, the Freedom creates a supported seated transfer that enhances dignity, improves safety, and significantly reduces caregiver strain. It eliminates complicated sling placement and reduces the risks that occur when users hang unsupported during transfers, a common challenge in conventional lift designs.
With a strong 300 pound weight capacity and a compact 60 pound frame, the Freedom gives caregivers a faster and more controlled way to move patients between beds, chairs, toilets, and other seated surfaces. The split seat opens 90 degrees to allow smooth lateral or frontal entry, then closes securely around the user for a stable and comfortable ride. The electrically powered height range from 15.5 to 23.5 inches allows caregivers to match the height of the receiving surface, making transfers easier and more predictable for both parties.
This lift was engineered for everyday home care, long-term care, and professional environments where efficiency and safety matter. Locking casters hold the lift in place during loading, and ergonomic handles provide accurate steering during transport. A built-in commode opening and removable pail add bathroom versatility for patients who may find traditional toileting transfers difficult.

Is the Freedom Patient Lift covered by insurance?
We don't work directly with Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance. To keep our equipment affordable, we offer flexible financing, including 0% interest plans.
What are the requirements of the operator or caregiver?
The operator or caregiver needs to be able to assist the patient into the transfer lift with some direction and guidance and, if necessary, assist in helping the patient get onto the seat. Lastly, they should be able to push the weight of the occupant in the chair.
Can the Freedom Patient Lift be used in the shower?
No, The Freedom Lift is not waterproof and therefore should not be purposefully be exposed to water. However, we do offer waterproof transfer options as seen in the Freedom Aqua.
Does the Freedom Patient Lift come with a seat cushion?
No, the Freedom Transfer Lift does not include a seat cushion. However, a seat cushion is available for purchase separately and can provide additional comfort during transfers and extended periods of sitting.
